I live in a house with a roommate and today I locked my door when I left and when I returned I had a note on my door saying "Please take anything you need locked up to your safety deposit box, etc. I do not want interior doors locked in home - fire hazard, safety hazard, etc." Do I have the right to lock my door at anytime and is their proof I can print out and show him? Thank you!
